9.5 Definitions & Instances

This section covers definitions and instances of those definitions. This feature is analogous to the concept of blocks and inserts in AutoCAD. It allows a complex 3D element to be defined once, and for that definition to be referenced multiple times within the rest of the file. This can lead to file size savings and, possibly, to memory and rendering time savings also.
