The following tools are used for Facsimile development and testing. If you intend to contribute to the Facsimile project, or build custom versions of Facsimile, then you will need to familiarize yourself with some or all of these tools.

FindBugs a tool using static analysis to find bugs in Java code.

JUnit Java unit-testing framework.
